المعرفة حق لجميع الناس.. لا لحجب مواقع الانترنت في سورية

إن أهم ما يميز الإنسان عن باقي الكائنات الحية هي قدرته الخاصة على توليد وتمثل المعرفة بكافة أوجهها، وإيجاد الطرق الملائمة لتوظيفها في خدمة حياته.

ورغم تعدد وسائل حفظ المعرفة ونقلها عبر التاريخ، تشكل الصحف، ومؤخرا الانترنت، شكلا من أعظم وأرقى أشكال احتواء المعرفة ونقلها، وهي أكثرها شعبية وانتشاراً وقدرة على التفاعل مع الناس.

كما تعد إحدى أهم الوسائل السلمية في تطبيق مبدأ حرية التعبير عن الرأي الذي كفله الإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان، وكفلته دساتير جميع الدول.

إن سياسات حجب مواقع الانترنت، وكذلك إقفال الصحف بقرارات من السلطة التنفيذية، هي سياسات متعارضة مع حق كل إنسان في الوصول إلى المعرفة والتفاعل معها وأخذ ما يلائمه منها والإضافة إليها، مهما كانت ذرائع الحجب. وهو حق لا يجب أن يكون هدره متاحا لأحد سواء كان شخصا ماديا أو شخصا اعتباريا، فردا أو جماعة، مؤسسة أو دولة.

وبناء عليه، نعبر عن رفضنا التام لسياسة الحجب تلك، وسياسة إقفال الصحف، بأية ذريعة كانت، ومن أية جهة صدرت. ونؤكد أننا لن نلتزم بأي قرار من هذا النوع، وسنعمل جهدنا على الاستمرار بإيصال المعرفة بكل الأشكال الممكنة إلى من يرغب بوصولها إليه.

إذا أردت أن تساهم في حملة مناهضة حجب المواقع في سورية، أوصل هذه الرسالة إلى جميع من تتصل بهم، ادعوهم للتوقيع..

سيبقى هذا الموقع هو الموقع الأساسي لهذه الحملة. لكن لك دور هام في هذا: حيث تستطيع أنشأ مدونة، بلوغ، صفحة فرعية... الخ.. وأطلق هذه الحملة مجددا من صفحتك تلك.. انشره هذه المقالة مع رابط لهذا الموقع.. ترجمه إلى جميع اللغات التي تعرف.. لا تدع السلطات السورية تقوم بتدمير هذه الحملة عبر حجب هذا الموقع. اجعل مهمتها مستحيلة عبر نشر هذه الحملة في كل مكان..

نحن ناضجون وواعون، وليس لأحد أن يكون رقيباً على عقولنا.. نحن ندافع عن حقنا البسيط والشرعي بالمعرفة.. فقط لا غير.

Knowledge is right for all people.

No to blocked of Internet sites in Syria. The most important thing which distinguishes the human being from the rest of living organisms is his private ability to generate and represent knowledge in all its aspects and find appropriate ways to employ them in the service of his life. In spite of various means of conservation and transfer of knowledge through out history, The press and recently the internet from one of the greatest and most forms of containment and transfer of knowledge. And the Internet is the most popular and wide spread mean and it has the ability to interact with people.
The Internet is also one of the most peaceful means in the application of the principle of freedom of expression which it guaranteed by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and which it protected by the constitutions of all nations. The policies of with holding of the Internet sites and closure of the news papers by decisions of the executive authority are in compatible policies with the right of every one to have access to knowledge and interaction with it and taking suitable and the addendum to it what ever the with holding pretexts were. This right should not be wasting available to any one whether he is individual , group , organization or nation. Accordingly , we undersigned's express of our fully rejection of the policy of with holding and the policy of closure of newspapers by any pretext and by any side it issned. We stress that we will hot commit ourselves to any decision of this kind and we will work hard to continue the delivery of knowledge in all possible ways to every one who wishes it.
